review 1: I'm not a very big fan of poetry but I was curious to see if this collection of poems could live up it's title. There were a handful that were genuinely moving (i.e. "Those Who Are Near Me Do Not Know", "Eulogy To A Hell Of A Dame") because I have a soft spot for lost love and longing for people and things that are gone. Most however didn't hit much of a nerve with me. They aren't bad poems but nothing I'd care to read again.
