review 1: I received the first chapter of is book free from smiley 360. Thank you Smiley 360. I read the everything at the begin inning of the book though chapter 1 and I was very intrigued. Is it too good to be true or is what is included in the rest of the book going to help my finances. I think I would like to read the rest. I do like that he ends chapter 1 talking about giving to those less fortunate. I believe that is so important.
review 2: This has been a difficult book for me to rate. The beginning 'chapters' are really more of an extremely long, and I do mean long, introduction, where Tony keeps talking about what he is going to tell you in the pages ahead. In my honest opinion if you are still telling someone what is coming later in the book, you are
... morestill in the introduction, it shouldn't be labeled an actual chapter. More than once I found myself ready to put the book down and thinking: "Just tell me already!" I was getting to the point where I was afraid this book was going to be like some others I've read where the author 'promises' to give you information only to push it off again and again, and then finally at the time you think they will tell you they say: "just buy..." Making you scream in frustration and want to shred the book because you bought it to learn what it promised to tell you in the first place, not to read a giant ad about the author's product or subscription website! Thankfully Tony's book does deliver plenty of information, you just have to get through the extra fluffy early chapters to get to the goods. That said, I think you should only pick up this book if you are genuinely interested and willing to read through the numerous anecdotes that slow the delivery of information, a passing interest because you are bored and need something to read will not get you far in this tome. It was definitely worth the read and has earned a place on my shelves. less

Tony Robbins is a financial genius! I started reading and couldn't put the book down! He gives step by step ways in which to get your financial house in order. I've read other "financial guru's" books and find Tony's to be the most intriguing. I like the way he writes in financial language that is easy to understand. As I read, I wanted to stop and try the suggestions he gave! He's inspirational too. His troubled youth adds a human touch to his financial guidance. I was able to relate. I would highly recommend his book to anyone at any stage of life....from beginning college students to retiring adults...his book gives sound advice to all who seek guidance with their finances and tells it in a way that is clear and motivational. I received a free sampler of the book for the purpose of my review. Opinions are 100% my own.

Although there is some good advice here (don't pay mutual-fund managers to make less money for you), most of what is recommended is somewhere between peculiar and criminal. In particular, there are arcane "you can't lose" strategies that I GUARANTEE you most certainly can lose with, plus recommendations of firms that overcharge to advise you. All in all, a shameful dog's dinner of a book that will do its readers far more harm than good.

Great investing tips but the entire second half of the book was not needed.
