review 1: This book and I have a love/hate relationship. Loved the book, hated the ending. Well written book, leaves a great space for the sequel. But my hopeless romantic side didn't enjoy the ending. I won't go into the ending, because I do recommend reading the book since it is good. It was just one that was like, how rude. But I must break down and read the next book to hopefully see the ending I would like.
review 2: I don't know what it is, but something about this book has me cringing every few chapters. I don't think I like sylva. Shes just, boring. Attic annoyed me a lot to begin with but is starting to grow on me and I loved little Jeffery. But really that's it. There's nothing wrong with the writing but random events that are a little two obvious for my liking... more keep popping up. I'm up to the part where she's watching Dracula with Jason and let me tell you...not impressed...it's like her brain just flew out of her ear and I hate heroines like that. Let's hope the ending pulls the book together or I might have to lower my star rating. less
