review 1: Well I only read to chapter sixteen because, I HATED this book SO much and its rare for me to hate a book. Strong dislike yes but to flat out hate it, that's rare and here are the reasons why it was horrible. 1 It was way to vulgar for me they were dropping f bombs like they were going out of style. 2 It was New adult no mater what it says this book is NOT YA. 3 I felt like she was a bitch to everyone her brother, her boyfriend, no one was safe from her bitchiness.4 her boyfriend (I forgot his name) he was a grade A D-bag prime example, his best friend/cousin is dating the main girl (I forgot her name to) only for a few hours but still, he drags her outside and makes her admit she has feelings for him and doesn't care that he just stole his best friend's girlfriend. The on... morely person I actually liked was Jackson, he seemed like a really good guy and a great brother, always looking out for her. Well that's it I don't even know if this book deserves a full star :(
review 2: I would rate this a 3.5This was full of action which I liked reading and a strong female character; however,there was a turning point in the story for me that I stopped routing for the couple and I dont want to ruin this for other readers but I just wasn't "in love" with this couple. To me it was just unforgivable after a point and I would think a female assassin "first love or not" would not be so cheasy and easy to crack. Just my thoughts; wasn't feeling the connection - actually debated reading the end of this book at one time, i am glad I did but nonetheless once I lost that hope for the couple to be together the book lost a lot of its appeal for me. less
