review 1: I was torn between giving this book 3 or 4 stars. First, the errors in writing still existed. It's distracting and disappointing. Second, when does this saga end?!? I loved the plot and definitely entertained, but it seems to become overkill now that we are moving on to book 3. I feel compelled to read the third book just to satisfy my curiosity. What does really happen to these characters. Like I said earlier, the book was entertaining and all of the plots and twists definitely kept me engaged in the reading, but I just needed for it to be over. Moving on to a third book I really don't see the point.
review 2: Let me tell you something , I don't care that the author's messed up on the fashion and history. If you read the first one there were errors too. One ... morespecifically concerning Miamor and the number of sexual partners she had. I said all of this to say the writing and story line itself was awesome. There was suspense to the nth degree! The only thing I didn't really care for was the ending. I do agree that they basically did the Butterfly Effect except this was a novel but hey I loved the Butterfly Effect. less
