review 1: Jessie is a private investigator with psychic abilities who is looking into the a string of suicides connected to the rock band Pyrite with lead singer Rafe who happens to be a vampire. This short story had a promising premise, but then devolved into pornography. I had to laugh out loud over a blowjob giving one vampire abilities and a threesome strengthening the bond! This was another free book for the Nook, otherwise I probably would not have wasted my time.
review 2: Interesting short story about a Vampire Rocker. We don't really get much of the rocker side of this vampire. We're only at one concert and don't interact with his band members much or his groupies.Jessie has the "gift of sight" and uses it to help solve cases. She's led to Rafe and his rock band... more based on a series of "suicides".Rafe and jessie embark on an adventure to stop the "suicide" which are really homicides.Aubrey Rose brings a slightly new element to vampires in this novel. They don't only feed on blood (and no the other item is not food). It was interesting, erotic and full of sex! less
