review 1: A cute light read and new adult book. I thought it was going to be a quick read, but the author pleasantly surprised me by continuing with the story. Hadley was a little too stubborn for my taste, but I knew she was going to be like that and I still liked her. I loved David and Jack! No complaints there, although I think Hadley and Jack jumped right into their "friends with benefit" relationship a little too fast when they hardly knew each other. The story involved a lot more than I thought it was going to and only touched on a few things that I thought it actually was going to be about. 3.5 for me :)
review 2: 4.5 stars. Great book. I enjoyed this story immensely. Somehow different college romance with strong willed heroine and sensual guy. I loved how the aut... morehor chose to portray the war correspondent and how unappreciated and understated this profession is. And those chapters from Syria were terrifying and eye opening. This is a powerful love story of dedication, trust and forgiveness. And what a clever title, completely different from what I thought it meant, just perfect for this story. Exceptional. less
