review 1: I received this book for free from a Goodreads Firstreads giveaway!I may have given this story 4 stars if it were a little longer and the story was more in depth and I could get to know the characters better. If 3.5 stars was an option, that's the rating I would have given it :)**Spoiler alert**One of my favorite things about this book was the romantic end. Although the plot was pretty "happy" all the way through after the first scene and I am a sucker for a dark story with a happy ending, I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end! I will look for more works from this author in the future.
review 2: Barb Lee’s short story Cat’s Blood is a fantastic read from beginning to end. The story hooks you right from the beginning and doesn’t let you go until a... morell is resolved. It’s not just a story of redemption, but of finding yourself and finding love. There are no “fillers” in this book; the author gets right to the story and it’s a great one. The length of the book is great for anyone who thinks they “don’t have time to read”. Definitely one I’ll be reading again.I received a copy of this book for free through Goodreads First Reads. less
