review 1: The only redeeming quality I found in this story was that it was free. I found it believable to mis-dial a phone number. I found it believable to launch into a monologue once you realize the phone was answered. I found it hard to believe that after realizing she had dialed the wrong number, she would not have immediately apologized and hung up. Yet, that is what this author wants you to believe. Not only does the lead character not hang up but she proceeds to tell this random stranger so many other things and after destroying her phone, she uses the knowledge gained from their conversation to try and track the guy down. I don't consider that romantic-I find it stalker type behavior. It ends well for her though since it turns out the guy is just as big a stalker as she... more is since he tracks her down and invites her on a date. Of course she accepts and that is the end of the story.
review 2: The Right Wrong Number is a cute, short read on a woman finding Mr. Right by dialing the wrong number. It was adorable and I like the author's writing style. I've had similar experiences with losing contact in the middle of an important conversation (although not that life-changing) so I can totally relate to Carly's story. Of course with my case I was on a chatting site, which wasn't that dangerous as compared to a phone call (I think?). Admittedly though if I were Carly, I would've hung up no matter how deliciously deep the guy was; he could have been a rapist or a stalker or a serial killer or anything as equally as dangerous. less
