review 1: Such a good book, loved it. The friendship between these woman are wonderful and how they work on their cookbook together while gathering recipes/photos sounded like so much fun. Childhood friendships are wonderful. I have a few like that being friends for over 52 years and living in different states, but when we come together it is like we just saw each other the day before. The love between Charlotte and Leo starts out slow and is amazing to watch it grow. The love they have for each other is beautiful and how they are so different but learn so much from each other.
review 2: In the beginning of the book, I wasn't sure I was going to like it. I only had time to read a little bit at a time and I kept forgetting who was Nicole and who was Charlotte and kep
... moret confusing their stories. Once I really got into it though and had more time to read I really go pulled into the story. It was an interesting storyline in a beautiful location. I could picture the island as I was reading. I seem to really like beachy/island type of novels.Overall a great book that I really enjoyed. less

No surprises here - which is exactly what I wanted. A predictable story in a lovely setting.
