It was vivid and you could believe you were there. The storyline was promising, but n... moreot as well executed. It could have been accomplished in less words.Recommend? - No, it's really not worth it.
review 2: Questo libro in realtá sarebbe il seguito di un altro romanzo dell'autrice intitolato "The mesmerist", e non mi spiego perché abbiano tradotto il secondo e non il primo!E poi si meravigliano che l'editoria italiana sia in crisi...Comunque é un romanzo interessante, l'unico che io abbia letto sul Mesmerismo, ma non l'unico sul circo (e se guardate in libreria ne potete trovare diversi, tutti ovviamente molto simili).Non mi é decisamente piaciuto quanto "The night circus" di E.M. e non mi ha convinto molto la trama in certi punti del libro.Secondo me non riesce a creare bene quella tensione che ti prende quando non vedi l'ora di scoprire csa succederá.É diventato interessante dopo il rapimento di Gwenny, ma il libro a quel punto é quasi finito!Per me sono due stelle e mezza! less
