... moreunger audience of the book is not familiar with Ralph Waldo Emerson and the work of the 19th century Concord transcendentalists. Aside from some of his great quotes, I haven't read his work. So, some background would be helpful for younger audience.But, the story stands strong, even without any historical knowledge. it's the story of what make a home, and the power of community. It takes a village, as we know. On that alone, this is a wonderful story, and tie in the history it's a winner. less
