review 1: Very well written and enjoyable. I can't think of any higher praise than to say I can't wait to read the next two books in the series. I don't usually go in for witchcraft and all of the hocus pocus stuff, but Ms Annino handles the subject with a light hand and it becomes central to who her characters are. One of the best features of this book was the editing. I only caught two minor errors and that is such a pleasant change. I highly recommend this book.
review 2: Its an amusing first book to the series. Stacy's aunts reminded me somewhat of the three sisters in Hocus Pocus. Some of the book is hysterically funny, chicken bomb for instance.Some of it just got on my nerves small town sleuth dating police chief has been done to death, are there no other jobs or... more men in these towns :( Two men bickering like schoolboys also gets on my nerves. That is just me though. Really nice twist at the end with the identity of the mystery man less
