A Stacy Justice Mystery
review 1: This is the first book I've read in the Stacy Justice series & I have to say, I'm hooked! I believe that a book should be able to stand on it's own even if it's a part of a series. That no matter which book you chose to read, you will be able to enjoy & understand the story within. Thankfully Tiger's Eye is one of those books! Sure it's best to read books in the order they came out. You get no argument there, but if I had to read the other 2 first, I may have never bothered! As it is now, I decided to order the first book in the series for my Kindle because I also get the audible version making it about the same cost for the paperback!Tiger's Eye is one of those fun "brain candy" types of books. It doesn't require a lot of thought. Just sit back & enjoy the ride. Don't get... more me wrong I love much more involved books, but every once in a while I do enjoy a quick & easy read. It took me only 3 days to read - most of that time spent on the treadmill. Imagine my surprise to discover I'd been hoofing away for an hour when it felt like 15 minutes! Like a lot of books of this type these days, there is a lot of humor thrown in with the drama. The main character Stacy is energetic & full of life. She is refreshing & easy to like. The kind of gal you'd like as a friend. Sure she knows how to do nothing but get herself into trouble (as least she does in this book), but she is smart & fun. She has a Great Dane as her familiar & he is just as personable as she is - they make a perfect team.Car ride, beach, tread mill or couch, jump in & enjoy Miss Stacy Justice's quirky life!
review 2: This series MUST be read in order... the prologue is the epilogue from the last book in the series. I really adored this book :) The world changing plot twists continue in grand new ways! I did not realize until this book Cinnamon is not considered an actual Geraghty Girl and that kinda made me sad. Just because her father was Stacy's mothers brother she is seen as outside the fold. Though I guess that works out for her in that she is allowed to lead a semi-normal life. Stacy's destiny keeps getting closer and she still finds the time to solve mysteries and hunt down murders! She seems to be coming to peace with herself and the destiny she did not really believe in. This gives her character more depth and likability. I can not wait to read the next installment! ** this book is suitable for young adult through adult readers less
