review 1: Julia's story is perfect for kids . It's good for a bed time story ,In the other hand ,it's simple and perfect for early readers .I found it interesting, the concept is fun and original ,however, "Julia's House for Lost Creatures" is a sweet story For a simple girl with a big house gets settled on the edge of the sea .She felt lonely so she puts up sign inviting lost creatures into her house .Soon, she has a house full and things rapidly got out of control ,to solve the problem she crafted signs a list of chores for everyone. All the little details add a nice touch as well .
review 2: When Julia settles into her new house, she finds it a little bit too quiet and posts a sign proclaiming the place as a refuge for any lost creatures. The house is quickly filled... more with various lost souls, including Patched Up Kitty, a troll, a mermaid, a dragon, and all sorts of creatures found only on the pages of fairy tales or fantasy novels. Before she knows it, her house is crowded and messy, but the ever-resourceful Julia parcels out chores for all of her houseguests. The last page showing how she solves the maintenance problems associated with running a house will bring a smile to the lips of most readers. The story and softly-colored imaginative illustrations will beckon readers to examine them multiple times since there is quite a lot going on in these pages. less
