review 1: A more age-appropriate Thanksgiving book then "Oh, What a Thanksgiving," but still lacking a little something. Illustrations are adorable, but the rhyme scheme is wonky. And it's still kind of vague on the "whys" of Thanksgiving. Charlotte didn't really care about this book one way or the other, and I thought a rhyming book illustrated with cute forest creatures doing people things would be a clear winner.
review 2: With this book I would use it to discuss the idea of putting a play on. We could talk about what all goes on and what all needs to be done to put a play on. The mice put on a play for Thanksgiving. This book is a good way to introduce the holiday.

Another cute book, but it again repeats the Thanksgiving myth as if it is fact.
