review 1: Wow...this book blew me away. I've never messed around with drugs or alcohol, but I have experienced recovery. This book depicts it as it is. Tiresome and trying. I was super sad by the time the end of the book rolled around, but I was surprisingly okay with it because it's SO real. It is such a heartbreakingly realistic read. I also want to say that this isn't simply a gushy romance as the description may lead you to believe. Just saying.
review 2: Recovery Road by Blake Nelson. Rate of stars: unknownThis book had me so caught on, I hoped for a silver lining, i kept reading fighting the mist, but in the end i was all soaked it was over and they had parted. I would get frustrated because it had thoughts of a typical teenage girl. I should have seen this coming.
... more I had hope in this love. A love story is ignited in a rehab center, with two teenagers. Her thoughts had me so hooked because of how real it felt. It felt as though i was also falling for the character, by the way she described him, how even his flaws seemed to be over shined by his shy self.It took me a while to figure out the reason for its ending,(substance inhale) for the way it made me feel afterwards. I threw my book across the room to only cry my eyes out. If love doesn't seem to be real in books, what's left?. I learned that from this id only known my story, but after, to know what is coming and its really just your first love and that's it. Meaning there is more to come but that first person gave you an idea of what your true love will be. I liked the beginning but the end had me a goodbye. When it turned out for the best in her part but of love it wan'st the time, just a chapter in his life. Just thinking of how it ended makes me so mad for wasting my time on a book and wasting my time looking for a silver lining. Why would she say all thouse things and do what she did to let him fade away. He went to her saying to move with him, she turned him down and just kept it at is. Why travel in the middle of the night, the night before your finals , for 2 hours and nearly get raped to just let that love go. WHY? less

If a book could get 10 stars, that's how I would rate it. Read in one day.
