review 1: What a wonderful surprise this was. The business part of the title almost made me shy away from it until I read the intro. It is not only well written by authors who truly did their homework but it's written in such a way that non-business types like myself can sink into the corporate chair and glimpse what it takes to make a business work. I think this should be required reading for most employers I've worked for. This is a feel good book because, like the cover states,it's 'A Little Story About What Matters Most In Business'. Who knows, maybe there really is an Allen & Augustine out there somewhere. One can dream.

I enjoyed the approach the authors took in teaching the leadership values, i.e. rather than m... moreerely stating key leadership techniques the reader takes a journey with the protagonist and grows and develops leadership skills along with him. The "reveal" at the end makes reading through to the end worthwhile.A light, airy read that teaches you core business fundamentals along the way. Would highly recommend. less
