review 1: This guide is huge, but don't let the size intimidate you. I only read the parts that pertained to my vacation, about half the book. The best thing about this book are the Tour Plans in the back: tour itineraries for each park designed to minimize line wait time. The plans are generated by a computer algorithm based on queueing theory. Through strategic use of the Fast Pass and arriving at the park early, you can stay one step ahead of the crowds and the unwashed masses sweating in line. If you go during peak season when crowds and heat are at their worst, then you are screwed anyway but this book should help a little. Do yourself a favor, pull the kids out of school for a week in the winter and enjoy 75 degrees and no lines.
review 2: I loved this book! It is
... more the ultimate guide for disney geeks. But be forewarned, if you are a novice to WDW or a casual traveler to the world, this book may overwhelm you! The guide presents a real view of the World complete with dissatisfied reviews from readers. I would suggest this book for those who need to know EVERYTHING and those who are type A planners looking for the best, fastest, and most organized trip. less
