review 1: This book was great. I did not give 5 stars, because I saw no meaning to the book. Most of the time, my favorite fiction books give me a sense of reality, a feeling that the author had put deep thought into the writing. I saw no evidence of that apart from the plot of the story. An example of a 5 star fiction book for me would be Divergent or Anthem. These books provokes thought, they have meaning, they leave a lesson to society. Fablehaven is simply an exceptional children's book.
review 2: Fun and creative end to the series. The Satyrs remain my favorite characters, but I also loved several of the other characters especially the introduction of Bracken in this book. I was curious to hear more of Seth and Kendra's parent's perspective on everything as the book
... morewrapped up, which didn't happen.Once again, so impressed with E.B. Stevens and his acting skills and myriad of voices; it made listening to the series so fun! less
