review 1: Sanderson sigue creando historias interesantes mientras desarrolla mundos nuevos y sistemas mágicos diferentes. En esta ocasión nos presenta una pequeña historia sobre una cazarecompensas que debe sobrevivir en un bosque poblado por fantasmas que se vuelven peligrosos si rompes unas sencillas reglas... El personaje de Silencio, la protagonista es realmente interesante, y todo lo que rodea a estas "sombras" es explicado con el estilo detallado de Sanderson. Sin embargo la historia se me queda escasa y algo previsible... La extensión no da para mucho más, es cierto, así que tampoco es algo que pueda echarle muy en cara...Aunque eso si, el titulo me parece realmente horrible.
review 2: Picked up the "Dangerous Women" anthology from the library, mostly becaus... moree of this short story, and was NOT disappointed. At least with Shadows For Silence in the Forests of Hell. I didn't read any of the other ones in there, mostly because I was perusing through a bit and saw a bunch of f-words. No thank you.Anyway, about this story. Once again, always the best from Brandon, a cool new cosmere world in which shades wander around the Forests of Hell and kill people if they don't follow the Simple Rules. Pretty much awesome stuff. The characters are great, the setting is fantastic, and the plot was riveting. Great job, Mr. Sanderson! :) less
