review 1: Lkay well first let me say it has never taken me over three days to read a book in this series because im always really in to it. Before reading this book i noticed that the chapters included Shane, Scorpio, and Felicia's name. My first thought was what about Nokea and Jaylin? I had no idea what direction the series was going to go in after reading the last book but this was not the direction i thought it was going to turn in. Okay for starters, I have made it known through my reviews about the series so far that i DO NOT like Scorpio's character. She is so eager to find love and she thinks that sleeping with men will make them love her but that is the wrong approach. Shane ticked me off in this book by falling in love with her. I will say that the ending is what made me l... moreike this book because it is soooo unexpected and I cant wait to pick up the next book so i can see what happens. I really would love for Brenda Hampton to turn the plot back over to Jaylin and Nokea because they were the characters that made me fall in love with this series.Would I recommend:yes(only because it's in a series)
review 2: Once again, I am trying really hard to like Scorpio, but when she does sh*t like that, (if you read it you will understand what scene I'm talking about), I just can't. She forgets SHE WAS NEVER TRULY JAYLIN's IN THE FIRST PLACE, SHE WAS JUST THE NEW SIDE PIECE THAT STUCK AROUND LONGER! UGH ! And I am so MAD at Shane for falling for it but whatever. But Felicia, Felicia, Felicia, GET A FLIPPIN LIFE ! I never was a fan of cliffhangers but I loved this one and have a pretty amazing idea of what happened to her once she stepped off that elevator ! && I just can't believe Jaylin's cousin (already forgot his name because I'm still upset with him too but *cough cough Stephon) has a part in a few things ! Anyway, overall, it gets 4 stars from me, because I just love the series. I wasn't really excited about Scorpio and Shane's story but honestly it wasn't bad. And I thought it was a good break from the constant back and forth of Jaylin and his ways, plus a great filler to prepare us for what could happen next! Book 5 please ! less
