review 1: The initial premise is more interesting than most books of this genre I have read, offering some hope of a human story to run alongside the narrative. Unfortunately this gets forgotten as the action kicks in. The "bad guys" are too two dimensional, the dubious morality of the "good guys" is never questioned, so in the end the book is little better than a functional thriller and failed to live up to the hopes I had for it.
review 2: This was a quick read purely for entertainment. I have not read any other books by this author so it took me a little bit to get how everyone was connected. I've read better plot lines in the same genre. The action scenes were well written but the interpersonal scenes seemed choppy at times, and almost like the author wasn't quit
... moree sure how to describe the moods and feelings of the characters. Not a book I would read again. less

Better then average thriller, because of the writing style, not the story.
