review 1: I think this one was a bit slower than the other books. The whole American vs American thing sort of lowered the stakes for me, personally. All around it just didn't jive with me as well as the previous books, which is sort of why it took me a few months to finally finish it. Oh well, it wasn't all that great for the series, but it's still better than most books of the genre, so I'll just have to stick to this series for a while longer.
review 2: I have had the privilege to read every Battles novel, short story, novella etc. and this is just another 5 star Jonathan Quinn novel. I may be a tad biased as I have had the pleasure to read some of the advanced copies from the publisher. If you are looking for a great series to get wrapped up in, look no further. B... morerett keep up the great writing and please, please keep Jonathan and Nate together for many more books......5 Stars across the board less
