review 1: Portions of the book discuss about evolution which I don't believe. Still, I was able to get some good information like the one in Russia particularly in Siberia where a geneticist was able to domesticate wild foxes. The book is not only about 'how dogs are smarter than you think' but a sprinkling of other stuff spread throughout the book which kind of disappointed me. I expected the author would concentrate on the title of his book but kind of drifted somewhere else. But still, some information he wrote are quite fascinating.

... moreI read each chapter. Having a dog it also helped me understand things about him and his history. The experiments described here are fascinating, and it has inspired me to try a few at home. Reading a non-fictional book is something new for me and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. less
