review 1: This series just gets better and better. This series by far is the best series for me from author Cambria Hebert. Once I started reading this series it was definitely hard to put it down to do something else. I absolutely love all of the character in the story but of course Sam, Heven, Gran and Cole are my favorites but new comer Gemma has a way of making her way into your heart also. There are secrets that come out in this book that you won’t see coming and Sam’s reaction to it will definitely make you laugh. It is said to keep your friends close and your enemies closer but when it comes to Kimber and her feelings toward Heven, enemy and revenge is all that she seems to see. Things take an interesting turn and Sam does what he feel is right for both Heven and his brot... moreher but that leaves him in a place no one wants to be. Charade is definitely a page turner and worth reading so I recommend this series to all of my friends who is looking for a fantastic paranormal read.
review 2: Charade, from the start, had be questioning everyone and everything. It seemed as though no character was without a secret. The introduction of Gemma was something that I wasn’t expecting and I was very unsure whether she could be trusted. I knew when Luke was introduced that something was wrong with that kid.There isn’t one character in this book who has only a passing role though. Each character introduced has something important to bring and come the end of the book I was left feeling empty. This is not because I didn’t like the story, but because there was so much emotion and my heart was breaking. I cannot wait to start Tirade just so that I can get some answers for myself! less
