review 1: This is a very hard review for me to write. I'm finding it hard to put into words my feelings on these novellas. I love takes on fairy tales so when the opportunity came to read these I grabbed them, and was excited to get started. The stories are good and well thought through and an interesting take on the fairy tales, however I found the writing wasn't that great and at times didn't believe the dialogue felt like the character it was meant to be. The stories are good enough to keep you reading its just a shame they were let down by the writing.
review 2: I enjoyed this take on the classic Fairie Tales. This volume covered 6 different stories but managed to intertwine them, even to the point of intertwining stories that never were intertwined before. It was gr
... moreeat and very entertaining. These are a darker version than many are probably used to and without giving any spoilers I will just say that I'm still not convinced about Snow White! I am definitely going to get the next 21 volumes and the 2 full length books that are available about Snow White and Cinderella. Can't wait. :-) less
