review 1: I bought this novel a few years ago in Turkey and because I didn't want to finish Forbidden I started reading this. The main character is a girl named Asli, she's ambitious and hard-working, but doesn't know how to love. During college she has a relationship with Murat, who I adored. She became his world and he loved her so much altough his family didn't approve of her (typical Turkish element in a drama) so she decided to study in the US and marry a teacher there, so he would release himself from her. Years later when she returns back to Istanbul, she discovers that he is married and has a daughter who he named after her because he still loves her a lot even though they can't be together :( :(I really enjoyed this book! It had a great plot with depth and lovely charac... moreters.
review 2: Canan Tan'ın ilk okuduğum kitabıydı. Hatta öyle ki resmen ağlamıştım...Güzel bir aşk hikayesiydi... Hayatın nasıl yollar çizebileceğini yaptığımız seçimlerin önemini ve sonuçlarını gözler önüne seriyordu roman... Tabi bir da sadık aşkın romanı. Kaçımız yüreğinde bu denli büyük bir aşkı barındırabilecek kadar güçlü ki?Okunmasını tavsiye ettiğim kitaplardan :) less
