review 1: I thought this was a sweet book. I didn't read the other books in the series, but I assumed that the heroine wasn't a likable character in the first two books. If so, it makes her redemption in this book that much sweeter. I liked the emotions in this book, but some of the things that happened seemed too good to be true. I'd like to have seen Myles a little more flawed.The villain seemed to have shallow motivation for the things she did even though it would have taken her quite a lot of effort and planning.
review 2: I really want to like it. I do. However, the start was so utterly boring and there wasn't much going on. Characters kept talking to each other without adding anything interesting, and things moved so slo-o-o-w it couldn't grab my attention for l
... moreong. I put it down a few times because I lost interest, and finally figured that since it couldn't keep me reading past at least three pages at a time, why bother? DNF. less
