review 1: I went into this story blind but then then realization hit I was torn. First of all Shane was never nice to Gabriel. The relationship dynamic was never more than a rough sex kind of thing. I really don't care for this sadomasochist type story (hurts so good) not for me. Shane warred within himself over his feelings/cravings for Gabriel and denied that he was gay because he wasn't, was he? Well it was a strange feeling to be desiring a man and Gabriel used this to sort of take advantage of the fact that Shane was not in control of his feelings. Shane was the aggressor and Gabriel was the manipulator. It was a messed to and twisted lust story, with no clear winners. Then you realize there's more twisted stuff to come can you stop reading this madness, no you continue to peek... more through their window to see what more damage they can do to themselves.
review 2: So this is going to be for the whole series if you are a romantic like me I want to encourage you to read on. I am weird about infidelity in my romance so in this HOT!HOT!HOT!connection these guys share. I almost didn't continue the series after reading the blurb for the book 2! This series comes full circle and all the things are significant to the last book and very worth while reading.SEX-make your stomach warm and tingly and makes ya wanna wake up your spouse :P (Oh wait I did wake him up)It really turned out to an awesome love story less
