Book Traveling Thursdays is created by Cátia @ The Girl Who Read Too Much and Danielle @ Danielle’s Book Blog. This weekly meme consists in picking a book related to the weekly theme that is announced in the group Goodreads page (if you want to join click here) at the beginning of each month. After that you can write a blog post where you explain why you choose that book and choose different covers from different countries. To make it a little bit easy you are going to choose different editions of the original cover, the cover from your country, your favorite cover, and your least favorite cover.
With a new year come new books… Choose your first read of 2017.
Yay! More reasons to talk about my current-favorite-author! My first read in 2017 was The Indigo Spell from Richelle Mead. It’s the third book in the Bloodlines series, you’ll find a review of it here.
Original cover:
I don’t exactly like this cover since it has faces on it, and I just kind of can’t stand covers with faces on it. Usually when I read, I have an idea of how the person looks in my head, and most of the time, the person on the cover doesn’t look like my image at all.
Cover from my country (the Netherlands):
This one still has a real life person on it, but the books before were better (let me just show you quickly)
These covers are (in my opinion) prettier than the original covers, because they are different, but still in the same style.
Favorite cover:
I’ll admit it, it’s still not that pretty, but it’s literally the only one without real-life-people on it
