review 1: I have enjoyed all books of the Home series but this one was just bad. This series is characterised by very very simple sweet love stories. There isn't much drama in them, they focus more on the development of the relationship of the MCs. There is lots of sex in them but due to their extremely romantic nature it plays out well.This book falls of the grid in every regard. It has a good idea and the plot could have been developed to be a great book. Instead, it turned out to be a dull narration of these guys dreadful sex life with others and their sexual mutual encounter over more than a decade. We are used to rather unbelievable plots from this author but this one was just too much. The MCs spend two decades with other, having meaningless sex at first then developing into... more their only significant sexual experiences. Still, neither of them had a clue about what they were feeling. The book documented this situation and just at the very last twompages the author decided to give them closure (if you can call it that) and both had the sudden realization that they are in love with each other and then the books ends. So,mas readers we have been forced to endure this awful friends with benefits story and when finally romance is add to the story the book is over.I am so disappointed in this author that if I could I would give the book zero stars!... But both characters were nice and therefore my 2* rating
review 2: Andrew Thompson and Caleb Lakes become best friends. As the years pass, they stand by each other through family trauma, school, and the start of their careers. They share their first sexual experiences as friends, learning and experimenting. Over the years they never find what they want with another partner until finally they need to decide to take a risk at happiness with each other. less
