review 1: Kris has a Dark Angel, of that she is 100% sure. He follows her, makes sure she is alive, and when she needs help - he helps her. He saved her from the guy in the alley when she was young and when she grew up he saved her from the boy at the party.She's lonely. She knows she shouldn't but she wants her Dark Angel around. She wants to know him. She wants him to keep her from her loneliness. That's why she does it. She takes a risk and makes the fall - and just like all the other times, he is there saving her.But unlike all of the other times, he doesn't leave her. Instead he takes her home, to his home, and takes care of her. It is only then that she sees her Dark Angel for what he truly is.This book is a paranormal mystery/thriller/romance novel. It has it all in ... morespades. It has great character development. It has an awesome storyline. And you can't help but fall in love with Derrick, Kris' Dark Angel. And by the end of the book, there'll be more twists and plot development that'll have you jonesing for the second book.
review 2: Carmen DeSousa. 1st in the seriesCreatusThis is a well written book as you would expect from Carmen DeSousa. It is a romantic story with a lot of suspense thrown in as well. This first book has set up for more to follow, the characters are very strong with a good blend of supernatural and romance.A very good read and if this type of book is your thing then you will enjoy it.4 stars. 17 November 2013 less
