review 1: What more could you want in a short story... a haunted train depot turned restaurant, suspense, a potential romance, mystery, ghosts? Oh, and was it murder or a suicide? The Depot was my first story by this author and I look forward to reading more! She managed to write a great story in only 47 pages. I enjoyed her style of writing. It was a fast paced read that ended with me having goose bumps!It looks like this story was so popular, the author has written a novel with the detective that was in this one. If you enjoy paranormal stories, this is a great one that I would recommend!

... moreas prepared to dislike Ashlynn because she at first seems to be a shallow co-ed looking for a rich man, Ms. DeSousa's plot unfolds and the story leads you in a direction you don't expect.Carmen DeSousa's writing style is extremely entertaining. I can't wait to read another one of her books. less
