review 1: I really like Carol Burnett as an actor and I enjoyed the stories included in this book. However, I did not think that all the stories were fully developed or presented in such a way that allowed the book to flow. In many instances, they ended abruptly and the story immediately following did not necessarily seem to follow in terms of themes, time period, or any other discernible pattern. I understand that to a great extent, this was the purpose of the books; a collection of stories to be remembered. It was successful in that regard, but as an overall read, I didn't find it to be completely successful.
