review 1: Another great addition to Cattle Valley by Carol Lynne. Leo has alot to overcome in his thinking, especially in regards to relationships and younger men. As we get older we tend to forget that we have something to offer a new partner, especially after suffering at the hands of the last person who we loved. The longer a relationship goes on the harder it is to believe in a new start, especially with someone younger. Sammy does a wonderful job helping Leo to see that age is just a number, he deserves happiness in his life and someone who will be a true partner.
review 2: It's actually a 3.5 I'm giving it. Something felt missing to me and I don't know what and I'm clueless to figuring it out, but not completely right now. There is the drama I'll give it that b... moreut with other characters and not the main ones it was inflicted on persay. Not like in her other books. I've always enjoyed reading Carol's books but felt a tad detached from feeling the connection that links, the bonding that should run deep between Sammy and Leo. The intensity of the relationship wasn't there for me. At least not in this story as it was in all the others. Carol's stories are always creative and being very well written is what I based my rating on in itself. less
