review 1: I like how things are not too easy, but not too difficult for the men involved. Threesomes are one of my bigger squicks (what I call an ick factor), mainly because I just don't understand them. That's just me. I don't particularly think there's anything wrong about it - be it 3 men, 2 men and 1 woman, or whatever other variation - just that I can't see how it would work. Still, other than the initial trepidation, it didn't bother me at all in this story. It was well presented and it worked. The other threesomes in the series were also in this category for me, along with only 2 other books outside of this series (you can ask if you want :))Hmmm, I think I really have to learn how to write reviews. Or at least change the heading to "My rambling thoughts and opinions... more" LOL
review 2: As lovely as all the other books in this series, this one added the dynamic of a three-way relationship into the mix. It is one of the best explorations of three very different characters coming together and finding their roles that I have read so far. The reasons for each man, what he contributes and what his role is, is made crystal-clear. The fact that there is a large dose of realism means the coming together isn't easy, nor is it purely sexual. While that is one of the driving forces that gets the men interested in the first place, the real challenge and focus is on their personalities, and the emotional baggage some of them have.Another worthy addition to the Cattle Valley family.NOTE: This book was provided by Total-E-Bound for the purpose of a review. less
