review 1: I thought this was a great story. Nate, Rio and Ryan love and support each other through a difficult event that brings out feelings that Nate thought he'd already come to terms with. And along the way their relationship grows to include Nate's niece and nephew. I liked how Carol Lynne kept the 3 of them true to their relationship but showed that sometimes one may need a bit of distance to work things through.
review 2: I think I enjoyed Ryan's book when he went back to Oklahoma to deal with his mother's death and his family issues more than I did this one dealing with Nate and his family drama. I was actually bored for most of the book until Will, the eight year old boy, made his appearance. I was very intrigued by this aspect of the plot. Not sure if he'll be ... moregay or just a weirdo but I'd read a book about him tomorrow. I really do like kids in books. Ryan, Nate, and Rio really need to keep the sex to the bedroom and behind locked doors. It was not cool to send the kids to the barn and then have sex in the kitchen. less
