review 1: What a brilliantly spooky story! It's been a while since I read a story about kids as main characters, and I absolutely love this. One gets the usual kids vs adults plotlines, but you seem them stay kids even when things go wrong for them.I almost expected them to get early mature, but they stayed childish-y, because why not, let's keep them what they are - 11 year olds. I'm going to read sequel ASAP, and maybe browse around if there's translation available in Czech as well for my mum. :)
review 2: I first saw this book on top of a shelf. But I ignored it.I was looking for a book to readso I strolled around the bookstore.Five minutes later, my mom came upto me carrying this book. She said:"Try this one, it might be nice."But I said no.But another five minutes lat
... moreer,I ended up buying it becauseit looks and sounds interesting. Before I actually read the book,I had some regrets buying it, likewhat if it's bad, et cetera. But anyway, when I read the "About the Authors" part, o realized that the authorwas Captain Jack Harkness. And I was like:"Omg. This is gonna be good."And it took me five days to finish it.AND I LOVED IT.I loved the characters.I loved the plot.So a week later, I went back to the bookstore to find the sequel.(See Bone Quill for my review.) less

Uninteresting, and boring. I didn't find the premise interesting enough to keep reading.
