All Fall Down is the first book in the Embassy Row series by Ally Cater and it was crazy. The story was a mystery with a bit of thriller and crazy mixed. Grace is a force, wild, daring and damage. After witnessing her mothers murder when she was thirteen it has left Grace altered, she isn’t the same carefree girl she once was, she has lots of problems and may not be that reliable of a character. Now All Fall Down isn’t as dark or as crazy as it could have been, Ally stated on the lighter end of that spectrum but I have to admit that I thought I knew what was going on and I was a little wrong. Grace is trying to solve the mystery of her mother and I thought one thing came up with a couple different suspects as reasoning but Ally put one hellva twist at the end. Ally did something that I wasn’t even suspecting until the last-minute, right before the reveal. I had no clue it was going to go down that way and I loved that. I was so sure that I was following the clues and going in the right direction, it wasn’t until she dropped one tiny clue right before she reveal the killer that I realized what had happen. I don’t read mysteries to often but when I do I have to say that the best part of a mystery is following the clues and trying to figure out who-did-it and why. All Fall Down has action, adventure, mystery, plot twist, friendship and a steady pace that will keep readers interested. There are so many questions left at the end of All Fall Down, so many answers that I just have to have and I can’t wait to see what will happen between Grace and Alexei. All Fall Down was just the beginning, next Let’s See How They Run. Overall 3.75 stars Graphic from Internet Advertisements Share this:All Fall Down

Embassy Row #1
Young Adult, Mystery/Thriller
Grace Blakely is absolutely certain of three things:
1. She is not crazy.
2. Her mother was murdered.
3. Someday she is going to find the killer and make him pay.As certain as Grace is about these facts, nobody else believes her — so there’s no one she can completely trust. Not her grandfather, a powerful ambassador. Not her new friends, who all live on Embassy Row. Not Alexei, the Russian boy next door, who is keeping his eye on Grace for reasons she neither likes nor understands.
Everybody wants Grace to put on a pretty dress and a pretty smile, blocking out all her unpretty thoughts. But they can’t control Grace — no more than Grace can control what she knows or what she needs to do. Her past has come back to hunt her . . . and if she doesn’t stop it, Grace isn’t the only one who will get hurt. Because on Embassy Row, the countries of the world stand like dominoes, and one wrong move can make them all fall down.
