review 1: I was happily surprised by this book! I didn't know Carole Matthews so I quite frankly expected an average Christmas novel all about red and green colors joyful events and I found a truly great novel. A novel about life, expectations, about the sadness that surrounds one someday, about the fears of a wife, about the inconveniences of not being contempt with your own children sometimes. And a novel about that Christmas cheer that I used to love until recently. I highly recommend this lovely book :)
review 2: Just like the main character Juliette I too love everything to do with Christmas so really enjoyed this festive read! Carole Mathews has managed to portray a believable modern day family that you can't help but love and want to find out how all their lives p... morean out over the christmas period. It is my first novel by ms Mathews but certainly won't be the last! Recommend to anyone who loves chick lit or seasonal reads! less
