review 1: This book was quite interesting. Oddly enough I really enjoyed the last chapter! Not because it ended the book, but because it made me smile and laugh. I fell in love with one of the characters - I would totally date him if he was real, but something tells me he will be getting married in one of the other books to one of the other sisters. I cannot read further into the other books to find out what happens with the other sisters. Caro, annoyed me a bit in spelling because I kept thinking of Charo, but that could just be me. The male characters in this book were really written well, I could not get into Caro that much though.
review 2: Caro Morton has no intentions of marrying. She doesn't want to leave her family, but she has no choice when the marriage date st
... morearts creeping closer and she is forced to flee from her home and two sisters without so much a glance back. She arrives in London's most fashionable gambling club, disguised under a mask and wig, and sings to earn her money. But what she doesn't know is that she is working for Dominic, a hurting, handsome, and mysterious man.I've read the whole trilogy and am coming back now to review them. I really enjoyed this one! As the kick-start to the series, I can say that the steam level was spicy and perfect, the plot was interesting enough to keep me turning the pages, and the characters...well, this is where we go downhill.Caro's "independence" is about as real as flying pigs. She's not strong and determined, she's scared and spoiled. She's too afraid to approach the big city by herself, so she must get help from Dominic to avoid being molested by strangers on the street.I also hated how Caro left all her responsibilities to her sisters. Even though both her sisters have their own happy, romantic endings, I feel that Caro got the most leeway and the most exciting story out of all of them. All she had to do was run away and look pretty. But I really did enjoy the love scenes and the plot--of course, the characters were a drawback, but in the end, all that matters is that I left feeling satisfied. Wonderful read--the whole trilogy is recommended!~Harlequin Romance Reviews less

So annoyed with ”Caro” I certainly wished instead of Ben but she died.

Inane. Stereotypical plot without the advantage of likeable characters.
