review 1: So check this. You have a woman named Grace, who is a fantastic pastry chef, but life circumstances have prevented her from growing her career. Then enter's Cesar who is a billionaire of some sort but super eccentric. He hires her to be his cook and of course she finds all his rules to be ridiculous but she still falls for him. Now I don't need realism in my romance novels because romance is all about the fantasy and not the reality but come on! First of all, who would travel with someone they just started working for to Buenos Aires? Second, why is she always jumping to conclusions? Third, I'm not going to even talk about the sister storyline. Every time it came up, I wanted to kick Cesar hard. Sympathy wasn't my strong point reading this novel, mainly because he was just... more a butthead.
review 2: Good read can't wait until I read the new book in the series. Cesar and Grace make a good couple so funny together. Grace goes to work for Cesar as his cook/housekeeper. Cesar is a person who likes his own way. Cesar and Grace knock heads quite a bit. Grace loves to speak her mind and Cesar is not use to people disobeying his orders. Cesar takes Grace to his home to Buenos Aires to cook for his guest which Grace is jealous because she is falling in love with him before finding out its his birthday and its parents. Grace also learns more about Cesar and why he is the way he is. He feels guilty because of his sister Gabriela who went missing 21 years ago. Love the ending of this book. less
