review 1: Montana Dawn by Caroline Fyffe was just an ok read for me,but that is mostly because I really dislike romances that have an ANGSY threat hanging over a main lead character through the whole book! It really kills the possibility of the romance fully blooming! I also cannot stand when one of the romantic leads will not tell the interested party what is bothering them.I get so sick and weary of the suffering this causes to the interested party that I would just rather they kicked the secretive one to the curb and moved on,to someone without secrets! From reading the other books in the series synopsis, this is pretty much this author's usual plot device,so I doubt if I will read any more by her.Warning: There is occasional scattered PG-13 language and sc... moreenes.
review 2: This is my second book by Caroline Fyffe. I absolutely love her writing. I am so glad I stumbled into her here on goodreads. While her writing is inspirational fiction, it does not come across as churchy or overly preachy. The characters simply turn to God at times that would be natural to do so without there being a big fuss about it. In this way God is a natural part of their lives. Her writing is engaging and thought provoking. The books are very hard to put down. The heroes have strong morals and the books are clean. I love the McCutcheon family and look forward to reading more about this family. less
