review 1: This was short, which was the only reason I read it.Oh my god. The heroin was so beyond too stupid to live. Never once did we see this vast intelligence that she supposedly has (which was rammed down our throats).1) There was no real reason for the fight as she never once said she was interested in the other guy. She just wasn't sure about HIM in the first place.2) Not once did she ever say "It's not that I don't like you, but I need more time to think about this as I only met you 3 days ago."3) Where the hell did she get it in her mind that to be with him would require her giving everything up? I don't remember that convo.So I really didn't like the female.The male (cause I can't remember either of their names) was.... meh..The ex girlfriend was an absolute bitch, and tha... moret seemed like very unnecessary drama. Don't know if I'll give the rest of the series a chance if they are all like this.The smex wasn't even that great, and the words that came out of his mouth were ridiculous. I honestly started laughing during the really 'sexy' times.Oh, and I didn't like the narrator. He made all the females sound like dumb cheerleaders.
review 2: I didn’t enjoy this book. I'm glad that I only paid $0.88 for it. There was too many things wrong with it.The writing was weird. It's the grammar maybe? Using “I am” all the time instead of “I'm” made the language the characters were using so formal. Nobody talks like that. And the rest of the dialogue was too corny and unbelievable. The supposed sexy talk? "….gonna drop a load down your throat?" Oh please. If a guy said that to me I would either pull away in disgust or laugh in his face.The characters personalities changed so quickly I got whip lash. Melanie’s best friend Larissa went from best friend to bitch in a couple of pages. Kade went from Alpha bad boy to pussy whipped puppy dog after one round of sex and don’t get me started on Melanie. The girl was so indecisive I wanted to shake her.I felt like I was reading a book from a first time author who didn’t have an editor.Great storyline idea, but so wasn’t executed well at all. less
