review 1: so this is like a collective review for the full series. There are too many complications too many twists too many turns and the series overall leaves you with mixed emotions. At one point i would have probably thought that maybe this series did not need so many stories. but then as you read along you realise that every story has a continuum that is maintained it leaves at a certain point and then picks up at a certain point.every story is laced with some dark tragedy or some dark emotion. ure projecting and alpha pack which is all powerful and then there is this evil force which is superior to that power which in itself lends to a continuum. at one . I want to just kill Caym myself if I had the dark magic in me coz he only brought dark disruption which makes you wanna co... moremmit bloody murder.that is one bloody dark villain.adam, north, pat, Edward these sacrifices were so so sad. Finn was crazy dark. I can't imagine reading stories where babies are hurt.its gut wrenching.why couldn't they have found elimen earlier? that's one loop I don't understand and the last book was kinds rushed. even Logan to be soooooooo romantic was weird but it was nice weird ;) overall I felt turmoil in me with every book. somewhere I thought the plot could have been tighter and the characters more robust and detailed but over all I wasn't disappointed. I liked all the books so overall I liked the series but I'm not sure if I loved it.it's dark and its murky but it's not bad. thank you ms fisher. I could read them one after the other coz the continuum you maintained made me go back and finish it as a series.
review 2: Pack princess, Cailin Jamenson, is the youngest and only daughter of Redwood family. She has been fighting her attraction to potential mate, Logan Anderson, because she does not want to give up her independence. The final battle with the Central Pack is on the horizon, causing Cailin and Logan to question their relationship.I love this book, and I’m so sad that this series has ended. It has been a wonderful journey. Carrie Ann Ryan wrote an incredible conclusion to the Redwood Pack Series. I adore Cailin. I think it was appropriate hearing her story last since she is the youngest and only female in the family. I can understand why she would be hesitant to be mated with having six overprotective older brothers. She is really a smart and strong heroine. Logan is the epitome strong alpha. I love the interesting details we discover about his family. Cailin and Logan are a fantastic couple with great chemistry. They are easy to love and root for. They have fun dialog and work well together. The plot was perfect. The action was non-stop. There was the perfect amount of drama and romance. I laughed; I cried, and I cheered. Fighting Fate had a satisfying ending, that felt complete.A part of me has that hollowed out feeling in my chest because I’m sad that the series has ended. I was relieved to discover that there is going to be a spin off season of the Talon Pack. I’m a shape-shifter-aholic and Carrie Ann Ryan is a master at that topic. If you love paranormal books and have not tried the Redwood Pack Series I highly suggest it. If you are a fan of the series, you will not be disappointed.Complimentary copy provided in exchange for an honest review. less
