review 1: I really liked the idea of a paranormal romance set in a small town with a holiday theme this time involving a witch and a ghost. My only niggle was the wishy-washy angsty heroine, Jordan. Hard to buy her supposed love for the hero when she ditched him w/ no explanation particularly when her reason came out. And then there was all her internalizing...the other characters in the story even remarked on it. Hero was worth it though. So it was an alright read with a cute concept. Maybe the next in the series will be better.
review 2: This was a really cute Halloween-ish story! It read very quickly, and I loved the play between the hero and heroine that were childhood sweethearts. The town seemed vibrant, with plenty of fodder for the subsequent books in the... more series that I know are coming. Even though there are only 5 books in the series, I am already wanting much more than that for this town! I can't wait to see what happens to the other Cooper brothers! less
