review 1: Well that seemed like a waste of time. So this was my first zombie book. I don't like watching zombie movies, but I was hopeful about reading a zombie book. I'm afraid this one does not do the genre any favors. None of it made sense, not the characters, the plot, the title, or the cover. I knew going into this that this book wasn't going to be a serious horror type of book, but man this book was just too ridiculous. None of it was believable and I didn't find any of the characters likeable or realistic. The only good thing about it was that it was a quick read.
review 2: A medically created zombie infestation at a high school, Kate a spunky pre-pre-med heroine with a coffee addiction and boy troubles, and the fate of the world as we know it. Put these things to... moregether and you get "Bad Taste in Boys". This is a fun and quick read with lots of teen snarkiness and some laugh out loud moments. Its a departure from the more prevalent hack and slash zombie books since Kate truly wants to try and save the infected. less
