review 1: Such wonderful surprises fill this book. Late-night reading with this one because I just couldn't stop. Found out some things about Dan that really took me by surprise. I think I'll give it some time now (two/three days?) before I pass on to the fifth book just so I can absorb what I've already learned about the characters and the series. Great read. I can't wait to know what's in store for Pepper.
review 2: I have not been reading this series in order.....but that seems to be ok. The mystery presented in this novel was agood one and kept me guessing but I am having a hard time with the characters. I don't have to like characters to read about them but they do need a lot of substance if they are going to be of the abbrasive variety. There is just not enough cha... moreracter development happening to offset the negatives. less
