review 1: This historical mystery involves nuns, abbots, a local lord and his extended family, and the aftermath of the Wat Tyler uprising and unrest in Yorkshire and the Riding. If you like complex mysteries, if you like historical novels (this one is set in 1383), you'll love Hangman Blind. Cassandra Clark's description is full of medieval vocabulary that will charm and puzzle readers. Can't wait to read the next in the series.

I lost interest in this book fairly quickly. Didn't find it engaging enough to keep reading.

An interesting read, while I enjoyed the book it was a bit muddled at times.
